Hey Everyone!

There is no way that I can catch everyone up on what has happened in my life the past 6 months.  All I can say between four freaking hurricanes, deaths, sicknesses, & work...I am doing okay NOW. 

I have definitely missed all of my web journal buddies and hope to get in touch/chat with everyone soon. 

Thought that I would post a short holler for now.

Yes, Dizzy Lizzy is still here.  I am fine.      I have so much to catch up on and to share...but I just need to make an entry for today...and then hopefully post as to what the heck I have been up to the past 10 days.       I have no idea where the time goes? 

This morning I managed to do 30 mins of aerobics...usually I power walk or bike so aerobics were a little tough for me to constantly do without stopping...but I made it.  

For 7 hours today I was working on my neglected website.  Tonight I hope to upload everything.  Obviously today was very mundane...but that will soon change.  The past week or so I have been studying the Tarot cards and I find them so interesting and only want to learn more and more about them.  About 3 years ago I bought this mini book about Tarot cards from Borders which had an extremely miniature set of cards attached to it.  I bought it because it was so cute...I loved the artwork on it...it was just so whimsical and full of life.  Well back on my B-DAY (May 1st)  when I had a hard time sleeping I finally decided to play around with the cards.  I haven't wanted to put them down ever since...it is really weird.

The miniature book briefly goes over the cards...it is not very detailed at all so I decided to surf Amazon.com for other books on the subject.  I ended up getting 2 books on Tarot Cards, a book on dream interpretation, and a real set of Tarot cards that also came with a small book.  They arrived yesterday and I just glanced over eveything and they all grabbed my attention right away.  Hopefully I will have some extra time tonight after uploading my website to learn more about the cards. 

Everyday I have been doing a reading and find it truly fasincating and only want to gain more knowlegde behind the meaning of each card.

Last night I had a disturbing dream about my Mom.   Perhaps my new dream book will enlighten me?  With all of my website updating and creating new art...just haven't had the time to read or web surf much. 

Tonight I need to watch American Idol and The America's Next Top Model update. 

I will try and add a photo album to my journal.  Have some pet photos to share.

American Idol just came on...gotta go now

This is the first time I have been online in 4 days. I haven't been around the house much lately. I have so much blog hopping to catch up on. I just wanted to make a quick entry now so I can come back later and make another entry for today. My Mom has had the whole week off from work so today we are headed down to South Florida...The Everglades. Looks like we are going gator hunting!!! (Just joking) LOL Not sure what we will do down there...hopefully we will find some interesting things to do along the way. Hope everyone is doing great! Catch up with everyone later, Lizzy

I didn't get to post yesterday since I was in giraffe drawing overdrive and was totally exhausted    by 8 PM.  Ashamed to say I fell asleep around 8:30 last night.      So of course I had to wake up at 1:30 AM.  The moon is shining through my mini-blinds...looks almost full.      I am not be able to get back to sleep so I decided it would be a good time to make an entry and to catch up on some blog hopping. 

Yesterday morning at dawn I went out in my backyard and gathered a few flowers to lay on Cleo's grave.  Poor kitty!      I ended up finding a Lemon Symphony, a purple Mexican Petunia, a white & pink Fushia, an orange Sunburst and a coral Impatient.  I was surprised that I had all of those in bloom since I am not much of a gardener...but I do play around in the dirt when I get a chance.  LOL  I laid them on her grave and said a little prayer.  It was so sad!!! 

I am not sure how to reply to comments made in my BLOG/journal?  Is there another way to reply than just posting another comment?  I was looking all over the Manager Index but wasn't able to see anything about it.  Just thought there must be another way to reply to comments if it's your own journal. 

Well today is my 29th Birthday...and I was worried about waking up early enough to go to watch the Dragon Boat races.      Well it looks like that shouldn't be a problem anymore.  LOL  But with my luck I will fall asleep in a hour and won't feel like getting back up at 6:30.   

This afternoon I also wanted to go to Tarpon Springs.  They have a sponge dock and all kinds of cool stores where you can find all sorts of unusual trinkets.  It is about an hour drive from Tampa.  It is a really cool place to visit...haven't been in awhile and haven't had real authentic Greek food in a long time.  They have so many great Greek restaurants over there.  But that trip will have to wait until next week.  I just heard on TV that they are holding a freakin' Sponge Bob Square Pants festival...today of all days!!!    I don't want to get involved with that mess.    Sounds like a load of people...especially little kids will be running around.   I really don't enjoy myself in large crowds...too many noisy and rude people.  Half the time they aren't even  looking where they are going.    

I was planning on going there for the past 2 weeks...so it is really a mystery where the day will lead me.  I just want to do something memorable and unusual.

Oh well my sleep mode is kicking back in now.    

Hopefully I can make the Dragon Boat races.   :::fingers crossed:::

Finally...here are some of my giraffe drawings.  I am only posting 3 now.  After looking at these three I am sure you don't ever want to hear the word giraffe or see images of giraffes again.   LOL   I swear I always over due things.

Perhaps this weekend I may be able to add this along with some other giraffe drawings I completed.  The images on my website will be larger so you will be able to see the details more clearly.  My favorite out of these is the 1st one "Star Gazing Giraffes"...but the 3rd one is really growing on me too. 

Let me know what you think?  I had fun doing them and I still have endless ideas and designs for more which I will be working on for the next couple of weeks.  Basically this are small color pencil drawings (8" x 10") that are really sketches for larger acrylic on canvas paintings that one day I will eventually do.
